Home ›Tattoo Model: Holly Doll

Holly fell into modeling quite by accident, when a musician told her he wanted to use her for his album cover. She had her first photo shoot in 2008, and has been strutting her stuff ever since. She does look up to other models in the industry, such as Heather Moss. “She is a business owner, a wife, a mother and a model...she balances it all with grace and class, and she is someone I look up to in order to maintain my amazing world.” The photographers Holly works with each have their own special style and talent. She enjoys each and every shoot. Outside of modeling Holly takes care of her family, spends time with her dogs, Shelby and Spazz, and works in their tattoo shop, Capital Ink Tattoo in Old Sacramento, CA. She also takes time out to help out charities and non-profits like TWLOHA and NEDA.
When Holly went in for her first tattoo, she intended on getting a small silhouette of a Phoenix on her shoulder blade. To her surprise, the artist had drawn it a lot larger, and much more detailed and colorful. Needless to say, she loved it! It ended up making its home on a third of her back, and letting her get a nap in the process. Some of the artists that have contributed to her great collection include Ryan Tanton of American Graffiti, Bobby Real of Cartel InkWorks, John Todd of Capital Ink, Oak Morgan of Capital Ink, Bernardo Cuenca of Iicon Tattoo and Cory Norris of Classic Tattoo.
Some little known facts about Holly are that she loves coffee and Skittles (not together, we hope), her biggest pet peeve is lack of communication, and the worst pick-up line she has ever heard was anything serious, instead of a humorous icebreaker (take notes, guys.) The best advice Holly has been given is “pretty is as pretty does”. If she could give advice to the other gorgeous aspiring ladies it would be this.
