How to build a strong portfolio on InkFreakz?

8 views 1 helpful 3 answers
I've been tattooing for a few years and just joined InkFreakz. I want to build a strong portfolio that attracts contest holders. What types of work should I showcase? Should I focus on specific styles or show variety? Any tips on photography and presentation would be great!

I had the same image upload issues! The key is to use high-resolution images (at least 1200px on the longest side) and save them as JPEGs with 80-90% quality. Make sure your images are properly oriented before uploading.

Organization is crucial when juggling multiple contests! I use a simple spreadsheet to track deadlines, client preferences, and progress on each project. Set realistic timelines and don't overcommit - it's better to do fewer contests well than many poorly.

For contest duration, I've found 7-10 days works well for most projects. Complex pieces might need 2 weeks, while simpler designs can be done in 5-7 days. Too short and artists feel rushed; too long and momentum dies.
