Upload issues - images not displaying properly

9 views 1 helpful 3 answers
I'm having trouble uploading images to my portfolio. Some images appear rotated or compressed. What are the recommended image specifications? File size limits? Best formats to use? My work looks great in person but not so much in the uploads!

Organization is crucial when juggling multiple contests! I use a simple spreadsheet to track deadlines, client preferences, and progress on each project. Set realistic timelines and don't overcommit - it's better to do fewer contests well than many poorly.

For portfolio building, I'd recommend showing variety but also highlighting your strongest style. Include process shots if possible - clients love seeing the creative process. Make sure your photos are well-lit and show the tattoo clearly. Quality over quantity always wins!

Communication is absolutely key! I always start by asking detailed questions about style preferences, size, placement, and any specific elements they want included. Regular check-ins during the design process help avoid surprises at the end.
