Using the Search
The Search function lets you search by artist name, style, location, or keyword. Use it to find:
- Artists who specialise in a specific style (e.g. "Japanese traditional", "blackwork", "watercolour")
- Artists in a specific city or region
- Artists by name if you already know who you are looking for
The Explore Page
The Explore page shows a curated feed of tattoo work from verified artists across the platform. Use the style filters to narrow the feed to the aesthetic you are looking for. When you find a tattoo you love, click through to the artist's profile.
What the Verification Badge Means
The blue verification badge on an artist's profile means they have been reviewed and approved by InkFreakz. It is a trust signal — not a guarantee of quality, but confirmation that the artist is real, professional, and has met the platform's standards. Always prioritise verified artists when booking.
Reading an Artist Profile
Before booking, check:
- Portfolio — Does their style match what you want?
- Specialties — Do they list the style you are after?
- Location — Are they local or do they travel?
- Booking status — Are they currently accepting bookings?
- Years of experience — How long have they been tattooing?
Contacting an Artist
Use the Message button on their profile to reach out directly. Include a description of what you want, your preferred placement, and your availability. The more detail you provide, the faster you will get a useful response.
