How to Set Up Your Shop Profile
A complete shop profile builds client trust and improves your search ranking. Learn how to fill every section — services, hours, booking policy, gallery, and team.
Your Shop Profile is Your Digital Shopfront
On InkFreakz, your shop profile is the first thing potential clients see when they find you. A complete, professional profile builds trust, answers client questions before they ask, and directly improves your visibility in search results.
Shop Name & Username
Your shop name is your public display name. Your username forms your profile URL (e.g. inkfreakz.com/yourstudio). Choose a username that matches your shop name as closely as possible.
Profile Photo & Cover Image
Use your shop logo as your profile photo (square, minimum 400×400px). Your cover image should show your studio interior, exterior, or a striking piece of work from your team. Recommended: 1200×400px.
About / Description
Write a description that tells clients what makes your shop unique. Include your specialties, atmosphere, booking process, and any notable achievements. 150–300 words is ideal.
Services Offered
Select all services your shop provides: Custom Tattoos, Flash Tattoos, Cover-Ups, Touch-Ups, Piercing, Microblading, etc. These appear as badges on your profile and help clients quickly understand what you offer.
Business Hours
Set your opening hours for each day of the week. Your profile will automatically show an Open Now indicator based on your hours and the visitor's timezone. Accurate hours reduce wasted enquiries from clients outside your operating times.
Booking Policy & Cancellation Policy
Be transparent about your booking process: deposits required, lead times, cancellation terms. Clients who read this before booking are better prepared and less likely to cancel or dispute.
Location
Set your full address. This appears on your profile and is used for location-based search. Clients searching "tattoo shops near me" or in a specific city will only find you if your location is set accurately.
Gallery
Upload photos of your studio space and your best work. A strong gallery builds confidence before a client even reads your description.
Artist Team
Affiliate your artists to your shop profile. See the tutorial How to Manage Your Artist Team for full details.
