How to Link Your Artist and Shop Profiles
If you own a shop and also tattoo, you can link both accounts for seamless switching. Learn how profile linking works for artist-owners and shop-owners.
Profile Linking for Artist-Owners
Many tattoo artists also own or manage a shop. InkFreakz supports this with a profile linking feature that connects your artist account and your shop account, allowing you to switch between them instantly without logging out.
What Profile Linking Does
- A profile switcher appears in your navigation menu
- You can toggle between your artist profile and shop profile with one click
- Both profiles remain separate — different portfolios, different dashboards, different settings
- Clients can see the connection on both profiles (optional)
How to Link Your Profiles
- Log in to either your artist or shop account
- Go to Settings → Linked Profiles
- Choose "Link an existing account"
- Enter the email address of the other account
- A confirmation email is sent to that account
- Log in to the other account and accept the link request
- The profiles are now linked — the switcher appears in your nav
Creating a New Second Profile
If you do not yet have a shop account (or artist account), you can create one directly from the Settings → Linked Profiles page. Choose "Create a new linked profile" and follow the setup wizard. The new profile will be automatically linked upon creation.
Unlinking Profiles
Either account can unlink at any time from Settings → Linked Profiles → Unlink. The profiles will continue to exist independently — only the connection is removed.
