The InkFreakz Featured Archive is a permanent, week-by-week record of the platform's most outstanding tattoo work. Unlike the Viral Leaderboard (which resets weekly), the Featured Archive is forever — being featured here is one of the highest forms of recognition on InkFreakz.
How Tattoos Are Selected
Featured selection is an editorial process carried out by the InkFreakz team each week. The selection criteria include:
- Artistic quality — Technical execution, composition, and originality
- Image quality — High-resolution, well-lit, sharp photography
- Profile completeness — Artists with complete, verified profiles are prioritised
- Engagement — Strong leaderboard performance is a positive signal, but not the only factor
- Diversity — The featured selection aims to represent a range of styles, techniques, and artists
Profile Requirements for Consideration
To be eligible for the Featured Archive, you must:
- Be a verified artist
- Have a complete profile (photo, bio, location, styles)
- Have uploaded the tattoo with a proper description and style tags
- Not have any active Community Guidelines violations
Consistency Matters
Artists who post regularly and maintain a high-quality portfolio are more likely to be noticed by the editorial team. One exceptional piece can get you featured, but a consistently strong portfolio makes you a recurring candidate.
What Happens After Being Featured
When your tattoo is selected for the Featured Archive:
- Your work appears in the weekly featured section on the platform
- Your profile receives a featured badge for that week
- Your tattoo is permanently archived in the Featured Archive, browsable by week
- You receive a notification confirming the feature
