How to Enter a Tattoo Contest

Contests on InkFreakz
InkFreakz hosts tattoo contests that give artists a chance to showcase their work, gain visibility, and win recognition. Contests are created by contest owners (admins or approved organisers) and are open to all verified artists during the submission period.
Finding Open Contests
Navigate to Contests in the main navigation. Active contests show the theme, submission deadline, prize details, and number of current entries. Contests that are closed or in judging phase are also visible but no longer accepting submissions.
Submission Rules
Each contest has its own rules set by the contest owner. Generally:
- You must be a verified artist to enter
- Submitted tattoos must be your own original work
- The tattoo must match the contest theme
- One entry per artist per contest (unless stated otherwise)
- The tattoo must already be uploaded to your InkFreakz portfolio
Always read the specific rules for each contest before submitting.
How to Submit
- Open the contest page
- Click "Enter Contest"
- Select the tattoo from your portfolio that you want to submit
- Add any required description or statement
- Confirm your submission
You will receive a confirmation notification. Your entry will appear in the contest gallery once approved.
How Winners Are Selected
Judging criteria vary by contest but typically include:
- Technical execution and artistry
- Relevance to the contest theme
- Originality and creativity
- Image quality
Winners are announced on the contest page and notified via email. Results are also shared across the platform.
