How to Affiliate With a Shop
Affiliating with a shop links your artist profile to the shop's team roster. Learn what affiliation means, how it appears on both profiles, and how to request or accept it.
What is Artist-Shop Affiliation?
On InkFreakz, a shop affiliation is a verified link between an artist's profile and a shop profile. It signals that the artist works at or is associated with that shop. Affiliation is mutual — both the artist and the shop must agree to it.
What Affiliation Does
- Your name and profile photo appear on the shop's Artist Team section
- The shop's name appears on your artist profile as your affiliated studio
- Clients browsing the shop can click through to your portfolio
- Clients browsing your profile can see where you are based
How to Request Affiliation (Artist Side)
- Find the shop's profile on InkFreakz
- Click "Request Affiliation" on their profile
- The shop owner will receive a notification and can approve or decline
- Once approved, the affiliation appears on both profiles
How Shops Add Artists
Shop owners can also initiate affiliation from their Shop Dashboard → Artist Management. They search for the artist by username and send an invitation. The artist receives a notification and must accept before the affiliation is active.
Removing an Affiliation
Either party can remove the affiliation at any time from their respective settings. The link will disappear from both profiles immediately.
